Fake Promises of MegaHookup.com – Don’t Trust This Site (REVIEW)

MegaHookup

MegaHookup.com promises 100% free dating and thousands of members who want to hook up with you. But is this site really a legitimate place to find some online fun? We explored the services and features of MegaHookup.com to find the answer, and will share our findings with you in this review. Continue reading to learn more.

MegaHookup.com signs of scam

First of all, we saw all the gorgeous women posting nude and provocative photographs of themselves on MegaHookup.com, and asked ourselves ‘are this many women from my area really using this site?’ because it looked too good to be true. Then, we received many messages from women on the site who wanted to get in touch and communicate, but we had to pay if we wanted to read or respond to any message. So, MegaHookup.com wasn’t free after all. However it all started to make sense when we opened the Terms of Use and read carefully. Here is what we found there:

1) Women’s Profiles Are a Part Of the ‘Love Stars’ Program

The female dating profiles are fabricated and the women you see on the site are not real members. They are simply marketing tools used to lure you into thinking you can really meet someone gorgeous and beautiful who is ready to connect. But, don’t be fooled to think anything on these profiles is read, as their pictures, location, age, personal interests and information is completely made up.

EVIDENCE: “You understand, acknowledge, and agree that some of the user profiles posted on this site may be fictitious or models or bots related to our “Love Stars” (LS) program. You understand, acknowledge, and agree that the information, text, and pictures contained in the LS profiles do not pertain to any actual person or member, but are included for entertainment purposes only.”

Q: But, why does the site need fabricated profiles?

A: To trick you! They will first make you believe there are many female site members, and then they will send you messages from these profiles to re-enforce the scam.

2) Computer-Automated Messages from Love Stars

In a short period of time after creating our profile we already had over 10 email, chat and video chat messages waiting for us, sent from women on MegaHookup.com. But, when we click to see who sent us the emails or chats, we could only see a photo, location and a subject line. The content of the messages is blocked and you cannot read or reply…unless you upgrade your account to a paid membership. We are very sure that after you pay your money, you will stop getting messages.

EVIDENCE: “Our LS work for the site in an effort to stimulate dialogue with users and to stimulate user participation on the Website and Services. You further understand, acknowledge, and agree that, from time-to-time, LS may contact Website and Services users and members via electronic messaging, including for example, email, instant messages, and SMS.

3) MegaHookup.com Is Not Free

The fact that MegaHookup.com is actually not free doesn’t stop them from flaunting the word “FREE Lifetime Memberships” wherever they can on their home page. The goal? To mislead you and push all suspicions aside when they later require your credit card information because they need it for “age verification”. Do not fall for this, because you will be ripped off. Here is how much MegaHookup.com will charge you:

  • $49.95 for a monthly MegaHookup.com -GOLD Membership
  • $39.61 for a monthly subscription to VibeVideo.com
  • $28.87 for a monthly subscription to VideoErotic.com

*Note that once you provide your credit card info, MegaHookup.com will continue to charge you every month for as long as you don’t notice the scam and cancel your paid membership.

4) There Is No Meeting Anyone

Not only do we now know that you cannot actually find a date on MegaHookup.com, but in the terms and conditions we even found them acknowledge it. It’s only logical, since all the women on the site are fake and all the messages they send are completely fraudulent. This site is basically a waste of your time and money.

EVIDENCE: “You understand, acknowledge, and agree that no physical meeting will ever take place between you and LS, and that the exchange of messages between you and a LS is for entertainment purposes, as well as to encourage further or broader participation in our site’s Services and/or to monitor user activities.”

The verdict on MegaHookup.com

After finding all this out and confirming it, we do not recommend anyone to use MegaHookup.com. Here is why:

  • MegaHookup.com fabricates women’s dating profiles
  • Love Stars service is used to send you fake email, chat and video messages
  • The only goal of the site is to get your credit card info and rip you off
  • You can never meet in person anyone you find on the site

  1. I got a free account that I’m able to chat and message for free. I don’t care the movies etc. But in light of what’s reviewed I’ll verify that that’s the case. I think I chatted to one real member. But the rest ???

  2. This is bullshit! Someone has to take all these fake sites down somehow, like som company who deals with fraud like this cuz it’s decreasing the chance of us finding someone special, especially for someone like me who finds it difficult to talk to women in person, POF is quite real but I don’t think there’s any BBWs which is y I went on this waste of space site.

  3. Yes I totally agree I notice how weird everything seemed and when talking to the fake women if u ever ask where’s there location they won’t ever respond plus they well send u nude pics of them but not answer any of your messages false advertising these people who created this site need to get sued

    • Yes! I could not agree more! But they know that it probably, wont happen because know men are imbererst about having to go to this sites. So nothing is done about it. Well like all the woman that were imbererst about getting sexuaily asalted. are finely able to come out and tell the world about their hidden crimes against them. So should we! There are a lot of us guys that they are praying on. And it’s out and out rubberier !!!! How can we get something started???? Help! Robert aka Offthe Thank you .

    • No dude you are not like the women that get sexually assaulted. Dumbass. You should learn to read before you fork your card number out. No beautiful woman anywhere is gonna be on this shit. Duh.

  4. I agree with a lot of people here. Thanks to the Cash App I got now. They gave me a debit card and I link it to my bank account Debit card and it allows me to shift small amounts of $$. I usually only have$10-$20 on it MAX and I can turn it on and off as I please and only when I have to use it
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND getting a Cash Card and linking to your credit card and only use the CASH APP card for those “FREE” trials Because when the Free trial ends and they try to charge it will decline it saying”insignificant” funds. They actually are charging$2;for the monthly payment because they see that people are using these Cash Cards or Venmo Cards which even let you have an automatic $10 put on the card if it’s a little short. Remember to use these cards and Link them but turn them OFF with the App until you are ready to use it and always keep SMALL amount of cash (less than $20-25) on it!

  5. Hey, gentleman, I need help cancelling my membership. The given url doesn’t work, and the other url, doesn’t work either. And I’ve been getting notifications like this or that credit card had been declined. I think one notification said a credit card was accepted. All the credit cards are different ones, and when I click on the notification it takes me to a page that says “get loan help”. I don’t know what’s happening, and it’s kinda freaky, to be honest. I need some sound advice. What should I do? Maybe they’re trying to use my card to apply for some credit card that they are secretly running up without my knowing. I need some help, and I’ll be grateful if someone here will be willing to help me.
