Tricks CheatingCougars.com Pulls On You To Rip You Off (REVIEW)

Cheating Cougars

CheatingCougars.com is another online dating service that uses scamming tactics to get to peoples’ money. They claim that the site is free to join and use, but you should be careful not to get ripped off. To get to the bottom of things, The Dating Cop Team made a research and will now present solid evidence that prove CheatingCougars.com should not be trusted. So, continue reading to learn more and warn your friends too.

How CheatingCougars.com scams you to rip you off

When we started our investigation on CheatingCougars.com we decided to read the terms and conditions of use besides creating our own dating profile for the investigation. What inspired us to pay attention to the Terms of Use was the fact that nobody ever reads these documents, which makes this document a perfect place for scam websites to hide evidence of their conning actions. That was a good idea!

1) You Grant Them All Rights Over Your Photographs

We took notice on several conning workings of CheatingCougars.com when investigating it. But this one is by far the biggest and scariest one. You should be aware that this site has the legal rights over all information from the moment you post or upload them on the site. Then, they have an exclusive right to do whatever they want with your photographs (distribute them to other dating services, modify them in any way, etc.) All these actions require no need for you to be notified and once you discover what has happened the take-down procedure can be humiliating and difficult (plus there is no guarantee other sites will be willing to take the information down).

TERMS OF USE EXCERPT: “You hereby irrevocably grant to Company a non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide, irrevocable, and transferable right and license to: (1) Reproduce, transmit, communicate, display, or distribute your submitted photographs, on or as part of our sites, on other Internet sites, or elsewhere, for promotional or commercial purposes, by means of any technology, whether now known or hereafter to become known; (2) Reproduce your pictures in digital form of display on the Internet; (3) Adapt, modify, or alter your photographs or otherwise create derivative works based upon your photographs.”

2) Fabricated Member’s Profiles

There are NO real women who have created profiles on CheatingCougars.com and are sending you messages. Those are not real women, the profiles you see are artificially generated by computers and the ending goal is for you to use your credit card. If you are wondering who’s actually sending these messages to you, let’s just say that programmers who create computer software programs are doing a great job, only not you’re your benefit. If you do pay for subscription, you will be basically interacting with a computer system.

TERMS OF USE EXCERPT: THIS SITE USES FANTASY PROFILES CALLED ONLINE CUPIDS®: You understand, acknowledge, and agree that some of the user profiles posted on this site may be fictitious and operated by the Site or its contractors. You understand, acknowledge, and agree that the information, text, and pictures contained in the Online Cupids® service profiles do not pertain to any actual person, but are included for entertainment and educational purposes only. Life events, experiences, interests, and geographic locations are fictitious. Nothing contained in any Online Cupids® service profile or message is intended to describe or resemble any real person – living or dead.”

3) Computer Software Operates Communications

All communications such as chat or email messages are not real and DO NOT come from honest members of CheatingCougars.com who would like to start a conversation. One of the most evident proofs of scam was the fact that we didn’t upload any photos on our profile when investigating the site, and yet we got messages from women. Ask yourselves – who would contact an empty profile?

TERMS OF USE EXCERPT: “Messages sent from our Online Cupids® service may be automatically generated with no human involvement, and Online Cupids® messages and/or correspondence may be generated by third-parties hired or contracted by Us. You further understand, acknowledge, and agree that, from time-to-time, Online Cupids® profiles may contact both free users and paid users via computer-generated Instant Messages or emails for purposes referenced above. These messages may be transmitted to multiple recipients at the same or similar time(s).”

4) Paying For Membership Is Pricey

CheatingCougars.com will try to extort your credit card information from you basically by blocking your access to many of the site’s services and features. More specifically – every time you get a message and try to reply – you are asked to pay. Every time you see someone and would like to start communication – you are taken to the payment page, where you can choose one of the following payment plans:

  • $2.95 to buy 3 days of trial subscription period
  • $29.95 to buy 1 month of subscription
  • $69.92 to buy 3 months of subscription

TERMS OF USE EXCERPT: “If you pay for a membership by credit or debit card (or other payment method involving an automatically renewing membership) and you do not cancel your membership prior to the end of the term, your membership will be automatically extended at the end of each term for successive renewal periods of the same duration as the original membership term.

The verdict on CheatingCougars.com

We most kindly recommend that you read the terms and condition of use document when signing up to an online dating service. If not then, you should at least pay close attention when giving them your credit card info. As you can see, much valuable information can be hiding in this document and may just save you from the scamming tactics of such sites.

  1. Thank you for the undercover eye opener, I can attest to what your research proves, I have been trying this site for some time and have also found similarities in your behind the scenes work. I have contacted so many so called availables on this site, and after months of sending messages to so many that I have lost count and still have never met one contact in person on here..not one! There is absolutely no way that the odds of meeting someone on here is that damn difficult..why? Because your research is correct! Notice..in sending so many messages, I still recieve hits on here daily and the profiles have never changed in that quite a few are copy’s from other sites with the exact same profiles and intros, I think women on here would update or change their info to lure possible suitors especially with some extremely hot women who time after time complain they get no responses never get guys to even talk to them…what a huge B.S. sandwich. Lastly, I have recieved a large amount of profiles that are worded and structured exactly the same, but on different women here and other sites..they parallel perfectly…what more do we need guys? We will have a better chance at the grocery store
