Conning Workings of

Here is a bullet list of the things we found to be illegitimate about Later in the text each is explained in more detail.

  • your profile data is taken and reused by the website
  • profile info from other users is distributed as new profiles on this network
  • you are charged for using this dating website
  • messages and communications are just as fake as the dating profiles

Collection Of Your Personal Data

While reading the terms of use we came across the paragraphs you can read as excerpts below. Basically, what these parts of the terms and conditions are saying is that from the moment you create your dating profile on it will be also made available on affiliated dating websites that are owned by the company. So, when you sign up and create your profile on, you automatically get a profile on the other dating websites owned by the company. The problem is that you do not manage these accounts in any way and they are completely independent from your activities on And, who does? –The website or the company that owns and runs this and many other dating platforms.

Moreover, as you can read from the following excerpt, once you post any personal data on a public area of the site (which includes personal dating profiles) these information are automatically owned by Thus, they can do whatever they want with these information, including reworking, distributing and selling your photographs, personal information, descriptions, etc. to other dating sites and dating site networks.

EVIDENCE FROM THE TERMS OF USE: By posting Content on the Website or as part of the Service, you automatically grant, and you represent and warrant that you have the right to grant, to the Company, its affiliates, licensees and successors, an irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive, fully paid-up, worldwide right and license to (i) use, copy, store, perform, display, reproduce, record, play, adapt, modify and distribute such Content, (ii) prepare derivative works of, or incorporate into other works, such Content, and (iii) grant and authorize sublicenses of the foregoing in any media now known or hereafter created.”

Also, if you decide to cancel your membership and take down your profile, you may not be able to do that. As stated in this excerpt from the terms of use, your profile (although inactive) may remain posted on the website. But, why leave it? – We believe that it’s because otherwise won’t really have many active members left to look appealing for people to start dating here. Another important question to ask yourselves is how many of the displayed profiles you see on the site are still active members, or maybe they are all created profiles or accounts that were left behind by people who don’t use the service anymore.

EVIDENCE FROM THE TERMS OF USE: A Member profile (both subscribers and non-subscribers) may remain posted on the Website even if that Member is not actively using the Service. You acknowledge and agree that although a Member’s profile may be viewed, you may not (even as a subscriber) be able to use the Service to communicate with that Member if he or she is not then actively using the Service.”

Not A Free Dating Service!

In fact, you are unable to do anything without subscribing first. You are blocked from reaching out to people that you like on, but also from replying to messages that were sent to you by other site members. So, what does the pricelist on look like? Here it is:

  • $14.99 to purchase 1 month of site subscription
  • $35.97 to purchase 3 months of site subscription
  • $62.94 to purchase 6 months of site subscription

FROM THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS: Your subscription will continue indefinitely until cancelled by you. After your initial subscription commitment period, and again after any subsequent subscription period, your subscription will automatically continue for an additional equivalent period, at the price you agreed to when subscribing. You agree that your account will be subject to this automatic renewal feature.”

The verdict on

One of the biggest deceiving tricks pulls is that besides taking your data and reusing it, they post profiles of people who use other dating sites owned by the same company. Many of the messages you get are sent through such profiles and do not come from real active people. Above all, this site will charge you big time for using their services, without providing you with real dating opportunities. And, that kind of work for us is definitely illegitimate and conning. 1. Well, at least Babyboomerspeoplemeet is not as expensive as “EliteSngles” who charged me $45 per month and it was a complete nonsense and misery:-) You cannot even take a look at this site until you pay them and answer 1000 questions, But the reality is that they might have very few people in your particular state and in your particular age group:-) They are sitting in Berlin believing that their matching amazing, but most of us would prefer being able to search single site’s database.
